Where does the inspiration to write begin. It begins with curiousity. In the case of my piece ' NOSTALGIA' I just picked a key [ g minor] a meter[ 3/4] and decided I needed to find a melody that did not begin on 1-3 or 5.....so it begins on a second [ or 9th]....have a listen, see what you hear:)
